Redmond's NOT a single father....

It's just that I'm the one with the camera! We both realized that most of the pictures on this site are of Redmond holding Sadie. I swear I hold that girl half of the day.

Having a baby has caused me to watch copious cheesy Lifetime Movie Network flicks. Sadly, Redmond's gone to the dark side as well. We now guiltily hole ourselves in the house and watch movies with titles like "Fatal, Deadly Obsession" and "My Daughter Has A Name". Urp!

Here are some new pics.

Sadie has big eyes...

Grandpa loves Sadie...

Very much...

Sleepy Sadie...

Daddy is apparently teething. Get your own Nuk Nuk, Daddy!

Holiday Update!

Eep! It's been eons since we last blogged. Here's what's going on... Redmond had knee surgery this week, and has been fairly bed-ridden since Wednesday but he's starting to feel a bit like moving around. He tore his ACL 90% through, slightly ripped his MCL and ripped his Anterior Minuscus in a kitchen fall a week before I went into labor.. He will have another operation some time this summer...

Little Miss Sadie is beginning to smile more frequently and is lifting her head for longer periods of time. She amazes us with new sounds and chortles daily and is 10 tons of fun. Despite the sleep deprivation, we are loving every minute of parenthood.

New pics...

Daddy loves Sadie...

Yes he does...

We love Sadie's moose bib...

Bridger is still quite the lap kitty... Good thing Redmond has quite the accomodating lap...

Up close and cute...

Not so sure we're liking this Baby Papasan chair.. Don't mommies call this the "Neglect-O-Matic"? Hey- pick me up, Mommy!

More napping on Daddy. We love to nap on Daddy's belly..

It's just gas..

But it's not.. really... I refuse to believe that all of Sadie's lovely grins are due to gas. When she first giggles, are people going to tell me "It's just cholera!"? And when she utters her first "Da da", will they sweetly inform me that "It's just Ebola!"?

I think not.

I like my little delusional bubble, thank you very much.

Here's another picture, same outfit. I have this compulsion to take pictures of her in every possible permutation and combination of outfits and facial expressions!

Here, I caught Redmond in mid-yawn and Sadie in mid-zzzzz. No, he's not feeling sleep deprived at all... ;-)

Babies should never be dressed as woodland creatures...

Right?

Ah, heck, we couldn't resist. See our little bunny?

And a couple other cute pics for good measure...
